Blaufränkisch Terroir Selection 2018

2018, Quality dry red wine
Taste and sensory characteristics

The wine is made by the traditional process used in the production of red wine. It is ruby red in colour, and in the scent you’ll find all the tones typical for a blaufränkisch: cinnamon, cherries and currants, in particular. The foundation of the taste is the velvet of red berries, which is completed by tones of rounded tannins from ripening in wooden barrels. Thanks to the fine basic ingredients, long-term maceration and maturation in 225-litre barrique barrels, the wine is elegant and velvety but still exciting. This wine can be assigned to the family of the best of blaufränkisch wines. Even when young, it can be a brilliant choice for special occasions, but its potential for maturation is huge.
