WINE OF THE TERROIR SELECTION LINE

The selected flavours of our terroir are matured in oak barrels, especially from local wood, which enhances the characteristics of this exceptional place on volcanic soil – complexity, elegance and deep flavour tones.

Taste and sensory characteristics

Its colour is a garnet red. In the taste we find notes of forest fruits, which develop into a hint of juicy ripe cherries. The elegant fruity bouquet of the wine, medium alcohol value and tannins from wooden barrels during maturation make the wine harmonious and exciting at the same time.

A boutique winery on the volcanic slopes above the Danube

Treat yourself to the experience of tasting premium wines from vineyards on the slopes of the Burda Hills. In the picturesque village of Chľaba, not far from Štúrovo, you’ll discover exceptional wines that owe their rich taste to the high minerality of the volcanic soil and a location with a year-round preponderance of sunny days. The winery continues the winemaking tradition of the historical region, which in the past served the Esztergom Archbishopric.
